A Degree
A composition for film score
use inspired by an unexpected encounter with an old musical
comrade - this falls
between a Bowie-ZiggyStardust and Roxy Music-ish feel, with a
haunting, thoughtful undertone. The voice of a higher
power, if you will -
(sincere thanks to Paul for the inspiration) Listen, and let
your own story unfold.

True
A digital melting
pot of current urban influences designed to illustrate the
unique musical signatures that develop
when elements are
brought together in an unorthodox musical fashion. Although this
is an example of current musical
styles - mixing
elements of Soul, Rock, House, Techno, Blues and Psychedelic -
and using acoustic, electronic, and ethnic
instrumentation, is
not the normal recipe for popular music on the whole. Listen
with an open mind, and hear the many
possibilities for
film use. This type of eclectic "stew" can be applied in many
ways, but will keep you listening closely
because you don't
know what will appear on the musical canvas next - enjoy!

Raga Metro
The Raga; a most
important part of Indian music, modernized and modified
contextually into
the urban musical landscape of New York. The Hindi/Urdu word
"rag"
is derived from the
Sanskrit "raga" which means "color or passion". This piece
attempts
to illustrate the
musical "coloring" that the Indian-American musicians of NY have
brought
to the urban musical
landscape. A mix of traditional and modern instrumentation, and
a
contemporary
arrangement, bringing the ancient forward to the present in a
form accessible to all.
Written for film
score use, perfect for work illustrating urban cross cultural
themes.
